GO TO 2040 Kicks Off With New Web SiteCMAP Regional Comprehensive Planning Campaign Launches Interactive Web Presence

Chicago, IL – April 2, 2008 – Leaders of GO TO 2040, Metropolitan Chicago’s first truly comprehensive regional planning campaign, are encouraging the public to participate in making choices that will impact the future of our region. Led by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), the GO TO 2040 campaign will guide investment and development decisions across the seven-county region. 

The new Web site, http://www.GOTO2040.org, was developed by WebSolutions Technology, Inc. and employs the Ektron CMS400.NET content management system. In addition, poll and survey results are tabulated automatically and available for reporting through Ektron's Workarea. The Web site has played a big part in the launch of this campaign and will continue to evolve as needs grow.
